My Last Day In Singapore | MattLife 021

I’m not coming back.

Neither are you.

Neither is anyone.

At least, not in this physical form.

We are all here once. We all have one life. That’s it.

We live our lives with a belief that everything will be okay in 30 days, 30 months, 30 years. We often live with a sense of complacency.

Until we don’t.

Until it’s gone.

Until we are forced into a sense of urgency in order to protect what we once had.

I enjoy traveling the world. I love it. It makes me happy getting to meet people from different cultures of the planet.

We don’t know how long we have left.

I may pass away tomorrow, in 10 years, or in 100. I simply don’t know the answer.

But what i do know is that I’m living every day with happiness and gratitude. I’m thankful for this opportunity, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Today was my last day in Singapore. In the morning, I fly to Dubai.

How did I get so lucky?

I didn’t get complacent. I kept working. I executed on my thesis every single day since I realized I was an entrepreneur. I put in the work. Now I’m simply reaping the benefits.

I’m excited to get out of bed on a monday morning.

I’m excited to go out into the world and follow my dreams.

My goals. My ambitions.

Happiness can not be owned, traveled to, worn, or consumed. No. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every moment with love, grace, and gratitude.
